How recently?

Can you post a URL? At least one other person has reported this (some time ago), but since no URL was provided I haven't been able to track the cause.

It's not someone "hacking" accounts. And I don't see any gear info in your profile now.

probably a minor glitch.

who would wwant to hack your account anyway. rrrrradam&co are more likely to get hacked, with acces and all.

and while were at it, if you can hack an acccount, you probably dont need it to change anything, so why bohter????

speaking of such glitches, I find under my profile that "I added" a rock gym I have never heard of to the site. I dont mind, but maybe the person who went to the effort of putting it there does.

Database link errors could easily be the problem here. And I mean if people were hacking acounts one thinks they would do cool things. Not list gear.

See now that is cool! That is worthy of a hack attack. Though I would accept it more if the picture was of you and some random chick hugging and it had also been emailed to your significant other and divorce was pending. Otherwise, still probably a database link error. Probably foriegn keys are incorrect.

Hacking is a felony in some places.

Someone hacked into our climbing group's site a few weeks ago. I think all they did was deface the pages by adding "This site has been hacked by (the name of their "organization" - it was called "something" Security "something" - can't rememebr exactly)". They had it run over and over, at the bottom of each page, like a naughty kid having to write out something a hundred times on the blackboard at school.

Our administrator had to take down the site while he cleaned up the grafiti, and we had to go without for a while....What do you think would happen to all of us if this site had to go down for a clean-up!?!?!.......

Some people might be forced to go out and do some actual climbing.
