Definitely one of the best trolls, but someone needs to tell the doctor that scalpels or scissors or a pocket knife or a butter knife or a spoon--whatever. Just about any of those would be better for surgery than whatever he used; a baseball bat perhaps??

Plenty of people have died from internal injuries that were not as externally apparent as this massive bruise. If anyone ever sees an injury like this, or experiences one, s/he should get to the ER and get everything checked out ASAP. If this guy experienced no further medical problems he was VERY lucky. Don't let bravado blind you to the seriousness of injuries like this one.

If you would have read the entire post, as i assume you didn't....then you would have seen that this is a hoax/joke. He never had a climbing injury. This was post operation bruising, that his doctor was aware of. We just put a harness on Joe, took a pic and had fun with it. Our original thought was to say that he was mauled by a bear. If this would have been an accident he would have been taken to the ED but it wasnt.
