I believe I will be there 19th-21st 22nd... I will probably be camping out but who knows. If that doesn't work out I will for sure be out there for 1-2 days. Any idea where your camping yet? End of the road by the monolith? Or somewhere else? and...BUMP!

At the begining, I'll camp up the little trail to the right at the gate. Should be easy enough to find, but you won't be able to see me from the road. :)

Okay here's my plan. I should be up Tuesday the 20th through thursday the 22nd (if I don't have unexpected conflictions come up). I then will try to make day trips up to hatchers however this largly depends on the $$$ situatition... Stupid gas prices are killing these roadtrips...

umm...I have to drive in from anchorage so it'll be at least 12 before I get there...probably more like 1-2. My friend drives a RAV4 so I'm going to be interested how it handles the road. Will Laxson (I believe you climbed with him on the famous fall site yesterday) will be coming along with all his gear (his dad climbed mckineley so he has excessive ammounts). I'm not sure we will be able to hike in with you to 22-24th because we plan on leaving thursday night. I am interviewing for a position at Bestbuy today however and if they need me immediately I might only be able to come up for day trips   ...Stupid money why do you demand it so rockclimbing?!?!? I might quit by the beginning of mid of august however if they won't give me time off to bike up to Fairbanks so we'll have to plan some trips then.

Just arrived back from my adventures in hatchers pass. The weather was excellent .. However the climbing more than made up for this. We climbed at the monolith, the gargoyle, and the diamond. The climbing was excellent for all of those of us who are stuck on chugach crud... Really guys get out there! I will probably be out there again eventually for another day trip so send me a PM if you want to go...
