I will make all attempts at making it out there - 'course, I haven't been able to climb since January (damn rehab), but I should be able to start training soon... The best way to fly in, is MHT (Manchester), and drive north from there - it's less than an hour. Grant, James? You guys up for getting there early again? - d.

For those who do not get to Rumney but once a year, there are new routes and one new area that were put up last Fall/early Spring. Even more reason to come!

Ut oh... edge + fooffy pinapple drinks + dock traverse/chair bouldering = PICS TO COME!!! haha  the problem with starting this thread so early is that i really cant wait for it haha ive wanted it to come back around since the day i left Jeans diner last year. Rumney is awesome in itself.. but many days and so much fun to be had during the down time makes it a great time

Oh how August went by so fast! Soon it will be October and we'll be counting the day until the gathering. How many people are set on attending?

Why don't you borrow the idea from the AZ gathering thread and list the definate attendees and the maybe attendees on the first post. Count on the Meglet and I.

Pffft... if I remember right (which I often do), my Rumney thread two years ago was the first gathering thread to do that. But I'll forgive you; you're new. Anyways, post up/PM me to be added to the list. I won't go by any earlier posts since plans change often.

OK ... so it's time to get your "cool weather clothes" out as the weather turns here in the North East. Colors are starting to show up in them-thar-hills and the BUGS ARE GONE! Mark this event on your calendar and come join us for a weekend of fun in the sun!

I'll be there as well, and it looks like early. Picking Melissa up at the train at 8:15 AM Friday so who else will be at the rock on Friday, say noonish? Beside Jake that is. Already hit him up for rope gun duty.
