I am flying from San Francisco to Charlotte Aug 19 to climb the Daddy, we backed off twice in the rain. I think even if it rains this time, its gonna go. But hey, your bay area tick list looks great. The crack at Mt Diablo was pretty sorry though. Try the 10b crack to the left. Ouch!

Some line, as yet un-named, only half of which has been climbed. 6 pitches so far. Secret area. Some other line, through steep roofs, as yet un-tried. Looks to be about 10 pitches long. Different secret area. Another line starting about 30 feet to the left of that one. Climbed only one pitch of that so far. "Ebola" a 50-foot high offwidth project that hasn't seen a free lead. A direct finish to a route up on Forefather's wall. Toproped this one, it has yet to see a free lead. Why do folks start posts with "So..."? Brutus

The Good Book in Yosemite - I've tried to get on it a couple of times and there is always a line. The Harding line on Keeler Needle - I hiked Whitney a couple of years ago and I still remember how cool that line looked. Under the Big Top at Lovers Leap - For years that line has beckoned me, to link Tombstone Terror (great climb) to Under the Big Top. The Rostrum in Yosemite - My main climbing partner freaking did it without me, and he doesn't even like climbing with gear. Equinox in Joshua Tree - Now I'm just kidding myself Seperate Reality in Yosemite - Yeah right, maybe if quit my job, leave my wife and soon to be daughter, move to the valley and train non stop. Phonix in Yosemite - OK I'm an unrealistic dork.

I haven't decided on the names... but since it is dificult for me to climb anywhere that is not La Huasteca or Potrero Chico... then I would definitely say that my hit list extends to whichever route that is not located in my state...

Is this the before I'm done climbing hitlist? If so, then what is left is: (not necessarily in order except for #1, and only listing routes over three pitches. i.e Jtree excluded for sake of brevity) 1. Lotus Flower Tower. 2. Scenic Cruise. 3. Naked Edge. 4. D7. 5. Petit Grepon. 6. Keeler Needle--Harding Route. 7. Liberty Bell. 8. Mt Conness-- Southwest Face. 9. Incredible Hulk--Positive Vibrations. 10. Serenity to Sons. 11. Stoners Highway. 12. Regular Route on Half Dome........In a day. 13. Levitation 29. 14. Resolution Arete.--Ticked Oops Forgot two: 1. Direct Exum 2. North Face yes, The Grand Maybe one or two others, but that is another list.

In reply to: The Good Book in Yosemite - I've tried to get on it a couple of times and there is always a line. Pretty ugly these days. First 30 feet of the route is buried under rockfall debris from about 5 years ago. The area is still unstable imho. Haven't seen anyone on that thing since the stuff cut loose. Good luck, and wear a helmet, as if that would do any good. Brutus

I can think of several lines, but right now there's only one in particular: Super Sharp Shooter at the Niagara Glen. It's not even that hard of a problem and I should have put it down a long time ago, but something just won't work right in my brain to let me send. After that? I don't know. I'll be heading to the RRG late April and I wouldn't mind a burn on Tissue Tiger if I can get the slightest bit of endurance up.
