FYI Was up at Birdsboro last night and due to the heavy rains recently, the road to get to the climbing is almost completely washed out. There are large crater-holes across the road, several large chunks of asphalt have been carried off the road, and the 2nd bridge (closest to the climbing) is completely down. Someone secured a wooden ladder to the far side of the bridge (thank you to whoever did this, I'm guessing it was a clibmer), and it's possible to scramble down a fallen tree and then climb up the ladder, but just be warned that if the water is high, crossing might be difficult. Wear shoes you can move in! I made the mistake of wearing flip flops last night and will definitely be wearing something I can scramble in next time. K.

   And I'm sure that bridge won't be rebuilt either. Probably turtles underneath that one too! (In case you're unfamilar, downstream from there, a bridge to state route 82 was washed out years ago. Never was rebuilt b/c of the discovery of bog turtles in the creek below. Now there is a permanent detour-- PennDOT should just resign the route.)

Went yesterday...the creek was low so it was very easy to cross. The ladder is a big help :)
