Hi Folks,
Okay, so it didn't really save my life.
I have to confess, I am a trad junkie. I am no longer in denial. I'm not sure what led to this condition. It may have been all that shiny complicated looking gear. Perhaps it was the Adrenilin boost knowing that you are 80' above the ground hoping that the pro you placed is good. I did my first 5.8 trad lead this weekend. It wasn't as good as sex, but it was pretty darn good!
Is there a saying, once you go trad, you won't go back? TR and sport and even following
trad just don't get my juices flowing like they used to!

Congrats on the 5.8, skateman! I know how you feel. I've really been getting into the trad of late, and it's a hell of a lot more satisfying than sport!! Following bolts is just not the same anymore, and I don't regret it!!!

All other things being equal, it's a lot easier to hit the ground from 80'.
