Hi All,

Looks like I'll be at the Elora Gorge for the Long Weekend. I'd like to top rope if I could. Any recommended routes from someone whose has climbed there?

Thanks,
Zee

Sure, a route called 'Missin' You'. One of the only 'clean' routes at the gorge. Well the top is dirty, but that is the best you are going to get.

The book says its 5.11, but there's no way its harder than 5.10a.

And I should also mention that Hoppinbig is right. The only thing the gorge is really good for is practising rappelling.

Hey Zee,

It is nice and chossy. But that hasn't stopped you before. Just throw your old hockey helmet on your Dad's head and he can belay for you. Or show mom you can rap without a backup...

Why don't you check the route database NooB! Instead of wasting our time!

Hey Zee - should have mentioned that Alex had been to Elora gorge just last month with some idea that he might get some climbing in. Can't remember what he said of the place, but his climbing stuff never came out.

Have fun tubing :P
