thanks for the info pirate - the house inspector checked out the insulation, and it looks good and appears the house was reinsulated not too long ago (not corn cobs, thank god! haha!), except the missing insulation in the attic. The house does stay good and warm compared to the old house I grew up in. I'll look into the conversion to gas heat and if it's worth it or not - half a tank total of oil came with the house when we bought it, and one of the oil tanks is brand new, so it doesn't really make sense to switch for us. There is a spot for a stove in the dining room, but no stove in there, and no idea when the last time the chimney was used so that will probably have to wait as well, although we'd like to put a stove in (either wood or wood pellet stove) at some point to compensate for heating bills - either way it's gonna be expensive. (from what I can tell on line oil heat averages out to be a bit cheaper than gas heat, though). I didn't realize oil heat wasn't normal anymore, I always had oil heat in every house I've lived in in New England.... then again they were all older houses. Maybe that explains it ;) and for those interested in the IBTC - I was a member too, until I reached my sophomore year in high school. Up until then I was an A. End of sophomore year, C to D. Been that size ever since. And for a 16 year old girl with small boobies, yes you know the difference, because those girls that get em in Jr. High flaunt them and make you feel bad about having small boobies. And the boys love those girls. Not the ones with itty bitty titties. Especially teen boys. Can you tell it was traumatizing?!?! Now I'd give anything to be around a good B. Big boobies get in the way. But I CAN mantle with them!!!

I use the knee mantle all the time...I figure it's not about style, it's about getting to the top. No boobie mantle's for winter. I wish today were faster OR that I understood what the hell I were doing at work.

In reply to: "You Catholic girls start much too late But sooner or later it comes down to fate I might as well be the one You know that only the good die young" I quote billy joel yesterday, and you give me shit....granted "only the good die young" is a better song than "allentown" but still. I sense a double standard.
