You just locked a thread titled "Is It Just ME ?" (no it wasn't mine and I don't really care). Your reason was:

Sure it was meaningless, but people found it and were responding. If you locked every thread with a meaningless title, that would be half the threads on this site.

yeah, I just read the whole thread, and I think he was a bit outta line in locking it. Sure the title could've been better (ie, 20Kn hanger, 10KN screw), but I've seen threads with alot worse titles that are still in existance. It's a shame that it was locked...

It would probably be more productive to rename it. Simply merging it with other threads on the EXACT SAME SUBJECT would not hurt either. I'm thinking about this thread (re: 20 kN hangers on 10kN screws in 4kN ice, right?) and it's got to be among the worst titles I've ever seen, especially since the question was provocative and could EASILY have been titled "20kn hangers on 10kN screws?!" and the author knew it.

Not sure about the 'design', but some indication of WTF the thread is about is in order. I'll push out some quick fix at the same time the profile/register fix goes up today.

As per the TOS and requests we often make -- when you have a problem with the actions of a particular mod, please take it up with them in a PM. If you don't get a satisfactory response to your issue, then take it up with Philbox. I'm not trying to disuade you from voicing a complaint, but threads like this do nothing but get a few wave-makers all stirred up and usually just lead to a bunch of character assasination. It may not be your intention, but that's where these always head. Please PM Jay and discuss this privately first.
