Heya, I'll be in Austin for work the 19th thru 31st of this month and would love to hook up with some locals to go climbing. Not sure how much time I'll have but would like to get some contacts just in case. Lead 9 trad, 10/11 sport on a good day. Unfortunately, I might be working all available daylight hours, so perhaps the gym might be the only option. Drop me a line srtwook@yahoo.com and hopefully we can get together. Thanks in advance! Scott ps. 24 yrs old, nice guy; I'll wont be able to bring any gear other than shoes/harness

I work during most of the weekdays, but I'd be glad to show you the Greenbelt on the weekends.

im off on wed. thurs. but i don't go to work until 2:45 f-tues tues. thurs. afternoon-evening are the local-climbing days... eg. lots of partners. bring a harness and shoes to the greenbelt entrance at (barton skyway exit {turn east} off of mopac [loop1]) also known as spyglass road. you hit the trail head and then take a right at the bottom. walk down about a mile. (don't cross the creek) also there is bouldering at mckinney falls - can do night bouldering if you have a lantern as well as bull creek bouldering... drop a line i have been hitting the gym usually 3 on 1 off but in the morning, early afternoon.
