About Blackleaf Canyon:
| Awesome limestone climbing in a great setting. Please respect the area as it is a sensitive bear habitat. Currently the forestry is reviewing the area due to the increased traffic. Note the new restrictions for the peregrine closure (doesn't effect any established routes, but if you're exploring....) |

| Directions: | From Choteau, drive northwest on 89 aproximatly 12 miles and turn west/left onto Central Avenue North. Make a quick right onto Blackleaf Road which will quickly turn left and west towards the canyon. Follow this for about 20 miles and find the trailhead. |
