Whiskey Peak
About Whiskey Peak:
Description: Like its big brother to the west, Whiskey Peak is home to many outstanding climbs, except these tend to be a bit shorter, in the one to three pitch range with the exception of Frogland. All are good, many are tough. A good place to go trad cragging.
Approach: The main trail for Black Velvet Canyon heads straight to this wall. Instead of dropping into the drainage, follow the trail to above the cliff, then move along the top of the cliff to below the various climbs. Another trail at the far end of the cliff goes down to the drainage and can be used as an exit path. Beta/Updates: |
