That's what I do too^^^ Soap/water. White lightning works good. Bike shops carry it. I'm always careful to keep the lubricant off the webbing. I'm not sure if it's harmful and I don't want to find out. I hear tell there is such a thing as "cam lube" but I've never actually seen it. Could just be an urban myth like unicorns or the chupacabra.
