Jay Kinda except for the fact that GEED actually does stand for general education which a part of every undergraduate degree. As opposed to, say, GE. Jay Apologies, you are correct. Most General ed classes are referred to as GE. The university I attend has a specific group of 100 level required courses that are labeled "GEED." The course this assignment pertains to is a 100 level pre-req writing course that falls into this sub-category. I wonder what GEED really stands for. A quick google seems to show that it is a term used exclusively at Christian schools. So there's a hidden agenda there - it sure would be interesting to know what it is. Edited to add - I found a counter-example. The University of Alabama also uses GEED = General Education. GO
