I saw The Police at Fenway park during their reunion tour. Was a good show. Sting was pretty cool in Lock Stock, too.

We did hike to the overview as you suggested. Very nice. Noa she is jonesing to get back there again. Good to hear. Yeah, I could tell she was digging teh place and I was doing my best to sell her on a return trip so you could get a little climbing in. Tanks. Don gets to Zion, FTW!

You have a tendancy to cut your vids short, so we actually miss the good parts. A good photog/videographer just becomes an observer, regardless of the situation. Keep it rolling as some of the best stuff comes mid-event or afterwards when you're talking about your dumclucking. But, yes, they were entertaining. Well, the 5 second vid cut cuz of battery dying, the other one it stopped when it hit the snow.

A guy jumped to his death from that overlook a couple of years ago. He hit the talus slope and exploded. Poor body recovery crew had to hike all over the place just to get the pieces picked up. But Pine Creek, the canyon on the left, is a popular canyoneering route. I've done that a few times now.

Not many of them have more than 20% of their hills open. It's starting off as another shit year for snow. Heavenly seems to have the best coverage. Squaw is open a little bit, but you can't ski below the high-camp. It's poor conditions. I wouldn't bring anything better than my rock skis, personally. I hope it gets better, cause I want to make a ski weekend up there, but I had hoped it would be IN by now. Meh, I'll take diving in Monterrey instead.
