Cummon sandbag ! We need your professional photog skills...!! Look at it as a business investment toward future career with a party on the side. Maybe you can scrape some $$ $omewhere and meet us....

You're welcome for the set-up, bro...

Funny story: When I turned 21, my mother (who I am very close to, growing up without a father,) wanted to take her "man-son" (my step-dad is "man-husband") for a drink.

At the time, I was in my prime college years, drinking daily, doing more drugs than I would have ever thought possible, and generally abusing myself. We'd party all weekend long, cram classes in on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, then start partying again. Anyway, the point is that when I turned 21, I could throw back some serious amounts of booze.

So I go home the following weekend, and my mother takes me to the local burger/beer joint. We have a sandwich, and a beer. And another beer. Beer. More Beer. More. More. And more. Beer, beer, beer. Pretty soon, I'm good and schloshed, and having a fair bit of trouble standing upright.

My mother calls to the waitress "Miss? Can you bring my check? It's time for me to take my young son home."

What a blow to the fragile male ego... drank under the table by my mother.

remote roadtrip internet access -- i'm impressed... :P ~ got a bbq + cooler in the tailgate also..? (that would REALLY impress me)

I have my MSR stove and been eating Ramean noodles for 2 days now!!

Day 2 is over! Should be in Estes tomorrow early evening thank god!! Cleveland to Omaha is one boring ride!!! Ohio, Indiana, Illinios and Iowa?! If it wasn't for the visions in my head of Longs, Torreys, Sneffels, all that ice in Ouray, and not to mention the booty in the hot springs, I would have taken an ice tool to the chest half way thru Iowa to end my misery!!

Now, I've been watching and posting to this thread for some time now. I've even conversed with some of you and you all seem to be a pretty intelligent bunch so I want to pose this question to you all, and to the one who can answer it I will be your personal belay slave for a day!!!

WHAT IN GODS NAME DO WE DO WITH ALL THAT CORN?

Gang, I am fearing that Mr. Mickymac has become delerious from all his travels. As a medical professional, I wonder about the possible etiologies of this condition:

~ Chronic Carbon Monoxide exposure, leading to cerebral hypoxia?
~ Malnourishment with the attendant hypoglycemia?
~ Repeated exposure to sunlight through the windshield, causing optic nerve damage that metastacised to the frontal cortex?
~ Exposure to some as yet unknown pathogen that has disrupted the reticular activating system, causing a lack of coherent thought?
~ Something else?

Either way, it's obvious he's in an irrational state,

since he just CALLED US INTELLIGENT!!!

Anyone have next of kin info for Mr. Mickymac? Someone ought to call them and make sure his affairs are in order. Won't be long now.

Mac, I grew up in a small farm town in northern Indiana... in fact, if you went across I-80, you missed my home by about 30 miles.

It's a small town, about 500 people, and it has more bars than churches. You really don't want to know what can be done with all that corn.

Really, you don't.

sounds simple ~ over-xposure to corn fields. Maybe it's the military's secret weapon to drive the Iraqui prisoners out of their minds...
