Like I said previously.. I'll be leading a group up there during the day, but think I should be around to go climbing around 4:00pm or so (more likely earlier then that though, but I need to be conservative). And, most likely will just run around and boulder until dark. You still planning on being around?

quickclips...i'm working on being there saturday, but i'm thinking that i'll have to work. dig this, i think i left a small north face pack and my sleeping bag at Red Rocks, 13 mile campground, totalling a loss of $500+ in clothes and gear. Pisser. So, with that and other bills coming up, i might be stuck on a portable wall and lock-in. But man, i really want to stay friday night and climb saturday, leading some quartzite and slotting cams. when are you arriving on friday?

Yeah, i miss the gear, but it will give me a good excuse for a new sleeping bag when i get the cash (read: after car payments, insurance, plates registration, rent, and cell phone). I'm free Saturday until 8:00p, so i'll be at the lake two days after all. Quickclips and dancingmadlybackwards, when are you guys arriving?

mojo, just a thought for getting a new bag, check out REI's scratch and dent sale. i managed to get a brand new looking (and smelling) 15 degree 2nd Dimension Mountain Hardware bag for $20, normally around $160 or so, in Madison last fall. I haven't posted to this forum yet but i used to post to the old one, i guess i haven't really had much to say lately. i am off crutches and am climbing again but only in the gym right now because i don't know that i am ready to hike the CCC yet and life is extreamly busy. on another note, i am moving down to louisville in August for an engineering co-op. so if any one is going to be heading down to the Red next fall let me know because i am probably going to try to get there at least two weekends a month.

Pawilkes nice to hear you're off your crutches, how it the knee doing? And congrads on your co-op who is it with (your ME right?). I just finished mine at Bemis in Oshkosh. I was working with a few guys from UW. Mono, I'm planning on getting to the lake ~9 so that we can get a good full day in. I haven't talked to Rach Jeff or Ross yet though. I'll see what they have to say.

Greenspace and I are heading down to So. Ill. on Friday April 9th and climbing the 10th and 11th Most likely we will camp at Jackson Falls because you cannot camp at drapers bluff. We will most likely climb at drapers bluff or ferne clyfe for one day and Jackson falls for one day or something of that nature. Anyone who wants to come with or meet up is welcome to. Temps should be in the mid to high 60's.

rrrADAM moved this thread from Community to US - MidWest. Thanx Eric for the quick work... Thanx to all who were patient and reasonable to help find a solution. To those who still aren't happy, bummer.

quickclips...i might be up for hitting the Lake on the 16th. i know that i'll be dying to get out to the Lake by then since i'm not climbing this next week. I can probably be at the CCC lot (or wherever) by noon and climb until it's dark or our fingers are bleeding from those little blasted crimps on Acid Rock. Thanx for that catch, btw...

Don't bother. It's supposed to rain all weekend (Sat & Sun). However, if you don't go, Wisconsin will realize this and it will be 77 and sunny. It's supposed to storm.

That's how it always goes.. especially around the Lake. Seriously, it could be sunny in the rest of the state, but even if it might rain.. it will definitely do it there. Wish I could go to the Lake this weekend though, just don't have the time. Might be in at Adventure Rock in the morning setting some new boulder problems, and then working on the homested the rest of the afternoon. Oh well.. next weekend I'm sure I'll be around. Although, once again, I'll be leading a UW-Milwaukee group. Bouldering anyone? Like to go back to the junkyard boulder again.. still need to get that traverse. Also, to get this sucker a bit back on track, what would everyone think about getting together in the middle of May? I'm thinking the weekend of the 15th and 16th. Otherwise, what about the beginning of June? Possibly the weekend of 5th and 6th? We should have a bit better weather, both day and night, by then.. Alright.. discuss.

Well as far as this weekend, I'm staying home. My thoughts are I get to climb enough there not to battle crappy weather. However how about this for a gathering. Jeff's birthday (jrock) its May 21-23, I'll be there. Plus I"ll be up there all the time this summer, so just name a time. Mid June works well too. -C OH and I'm heading to the red Memorial Day weekend!
