right you are! we are all full of ourselves to a certain extend, and I'll admit I have had to check myself on this very subject... There is a fine line between confidence (a MAJOR turn on) and Arrogance (turn off). true with any person, male or femal.
I'm going to ammend what I said before: the REAL trick to dating is to be yourself and learn to understand that if yourself is not enough for said person, then they are not the right person. There's where the confidence comes in. If you can't be yourself around a person, why bother spending time with them?
But I guess we need to first establish what it is the OP wants... a girlfriend or a summer fling? because all that about finding something in common and being yourself is not really valid for a casual fling.. THAT is all about how you look and how much she drinks
