I was going by the route description of each pitch being 150 feet. ;-) man that was good time, wish I could go back there tomorrow. might not be able to until august, though you never know. couple more video clips from Table: amy belaying me on Holy Smoke P2, after 80-100 feet and 2 pieces, with another 50-60 feet of 5.2 runout slab to go. http://s183.photobucket.com/...bl_mnt_P2_runout.flv rapping Bugs Eat Frogs. after the stomach churning extreme closeup action, you might notice the swarm of black flies around my head (the conversion from mpg is kinda grainy so you might not) http://s183.photobucket.com/..._mnt_rapping_BEF.flv

NH on saturday fo' sho...unfinished business fo' sho. It seems that it has been hard for me to go climbing and stay dry lately, so maybe I'll come back with an interesting story AND dry gear.

you're probably going to that Granite stuff though arent you? You should stay the weekend and come clip bolts one day. I still haven't met this "alex" girl who seems to accompany you these days. I'll find you some routes where those Testarossas will actually be used for their main function :)

Jay - what are you getting on? Will Christine be with you? Any interest in consuming some after climbing beer at the Moat Mountain House on Sat? To C4C, I'm done with the weather business. Christine and I are going to head up early Saturday, hopefully early enough to beat the expected crowds. I'd like to get her on Thin Air, and I'd like to flop up Airation real quick; then after a brief interlude (read: walk down the death road - that thing kills my legs every time I walk down it) I was thinking of either Funhouse or Pooh (or a combined both) to Black Lung - Upper Refuse/Final Gesture. Though the afternoon routes could be modified depending on traffic/weather. And... as if any respectable climber would decline to acquisite the consumption of tasty beveradges post climb, I'd say that we would be in for it.

If you're in bar harbor, what are you doing napping when there's climbing to do? geesh! Well, it's not all naps and teddy bears for me. I've been roped into unloading two tons of heating pellets from a truck and into a basement, loading and unloading a truck full of lobster pots onto a boat, unjamming a door that feels locked but doesn't have a lock, fighting off the pain of a boxer spaniel leaping with its front paws into my crotch, fighting a Geddy's mudslide hangover, and, worst of all, chasing a two-year old niece around who loves laughing at the repetition of throwing her dollies juuuust far enough away from me to make me get up from my seat to retrieve them. Let's just say that while I love my niece, I'm kind of glad I'm childless today. Kids just aren't good for dehydration. Besides, mid-70s with a cool, salty breeze is just too good pass up. Yup, the dog looks pretty comfy now in front of the fan. I might just have to steal her spot on the floor. Mmmm...yeah, that's nice.

Rain? Naps? What are you people talking about??!!??! It didn't rain in Rumney today (at least while we were there). Shared a both productive and pleasant day with Ambler at 5.8 Crag. He started off in style with Milk Snake, commenting on the fiddly gear on the way. I turned my sights on Romancing the Stone and took a couple hangs. We played on a a couple other climbs to the right and up the hill. Then I decided I needed to Romance the Stone one more time. I think today is the first time I've ever been on it, so it felt good to try it a second time and get the redpoint. As is my habit, I forgot my camera, but Larry had his so we'll all just have to wait for him to see proof of the day.

I was climbing at CR a few weeks ago and am missing two pieces, a #2 C4 cam and a black nut tool. The cam would have yellow marking tape, and possibly the nut tool. If you saw them or know who picked them up please send me a PM.
