Hey, I want to know why the top rated photos rarely have someone climbing. Its either a bountain or a beautiful sunset. If we are going to vote on those, call it something different than rockclimbing.com

 How stereotypical coming from "bouldering-bumm". Bouldering is about the movement. A lot of trad/backcountry climbers do it for the views and positions. I like the scenic shots more than the climbing shots 9 times out of 10. I've seen enough people crimp/slap a sloper/etc. The scenery inspires man! Go play around on a bouldering web site.

People climb in those mountains, as I'm sure you well know. There is more to climbing than pictures of people climbing. I could understand your argument if the name of the website was "RockClimbingPictures.com" but it's not. There is more to this website than just photos. And there are PLENTY of pics of people climbing.

*isnt there a bouldering website that you can go be stupid on somewhere?* I love the fact that there's actually a bouldering site called pebblewrestler.com. If I'd known when I came up with that one I would have applied for the copyright...

guys, enough trashing... If you canīt boulder, it doesnīt mean uīre less than he is, do your trad/sport and stfu! Im a sprotclimber at heart, a trad wannabe and a boulderer at adrenaline, and all are good. About the pics, if they get voted on, they are good, if they are NOT voted on, they are bad. Besides climbers, some of us are also campers, and we LOVE sunsets and mountains. and besides, sometimes a general view of a mountain is needed for some inspiration in "wanting to go there". You know... Ive posted many pictures of La Huasteca, hoping that one day, it will become as popular as El Potrero Chico, and I "show off" our local mountain with fire from my heart!!! and my heart is always climbing... Now tell me a mountain isnt climbing. You can still post pictures without beautiful scenery that are just about the climbing, its free, and you did NOTHING to have it, so stop complaining!

Sometimes I wonder if it should be called slacklining.com......... even though some of those shots are pretty cool. As long as they are climbers doing it, hey?! As far as mountain shots.........Aren't 90% of these shots taken while on a route, or during a climbing trip anyway! If it's voted it's rated! They're mostly REALLY good photos! my 0.02c Aus (unfortunately it converts to around 0.015c) ....Dave

I didnt say the pics were bad, I just thought they should be on a different website. I was wrong, now I see that many more people than I thought liked them. I KNOW THAT YOU HAVE TO CLIMB THE MOUNTAIN TO GET UP THERE. Also of note, check my profile, Im not just a boulderer, it is just what I am best at.

Besides a lot of the comments in this post are funny, thats what i am laughing at, not your ignorance, I dont want a flame war! Maybe you should not allow people to comment on your photos, if you dont like other peoples opinions!

sOrry about that. I looked at your profile and saw that you have made many positive remarks, but why are you picking on me. a 13 year old? (p.s., that was the hardest problem I have ever sent and I have sent many V.9s all around the west, along with many V0-V8 flashes.)
