I love the old Hueco's! They're wide enough for my paddle feet to be comfortable all day. I'm not sure about the "new" ones, but I tried the "older", new ones(with EVA sole) and the were really narrow. I really wish they stuck to the same last.

I have to buy some new shoes, again. I have some foot issues that the Old Five-Ten Hueco fit really well. I had two pairs, and after so many resoles, they are being sent out to pasture. I was wondering if the New Hueco (Beige) was the same as the old one (Maroon)? No one close to me has them in stock so I was gonna buy off the web. Is the last the same size and configuration? Is the toe-box the same? I know someone out there must have a set of both the old and new and maybe would be so nice as to post and tell me how different/same they are? I don't need them right away, but wanna get them before I head out to RRR in about a month, so I got to order soon, I think.

The new huecos look like a beginers shoe to me. I would not be caught dead in the new ones, love the old ones. It's Boreal aces next time.

In reply to: The new huecos look like a beginers shoe to me. I would not be caught dead in the new ones Are you kidding me? They "look" like a beginner's shoe? Well they're not. Mine climb almost as well as my Anasazis, yet you can wear them trad climbing all day, which is what I got them for.

Cool. I never tried them. I am stuck on my old ones and my Anasazi lace ups.
