Im looking to find some mixed (trad with some bolts) that are one pitch from 5.1 to 5.10.

Also does any one know a good place that you can practice repeling because my girl friend has not repeled yet and im trying to find a good place to do that at red rocks.

Thanks alot!

The Magic Bus has a handful of mixed routes 5.8-5.9. As far a single pitch goes, nothing else really comes to mind.

If your girlfriend doesn't know how to repel, I think you have to consider that a good thing.

there are tons of routes out there with bolts and gear options- take your pick. Crimson is a good one at 5.8-ish, but the rappels suck.

just about every established classic i can think of has at least some bolts on it, except for...the Angel Food Wall and Cat in the Hat (if you dont count anchor bolts)....pm me with a little more info than -5.1 to 5.10- and i'll see what i can dig up for you....

Rappelling- if you got the gear, Moderate Mecca is a great place to start. You can progress from a 30' rap to a 200' rap as you move down the cliff. There's also a really cool 100' long free hanging rap off one of the pinnacles there.
