With regard to the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy thread, I am curious which movies you feel has done a book justice. And yes, we all realize that a movie can only offer and entail so much detail; so let's not get into some pissy ass argument... unless, it's entertaining... Blk

In reply to: The whole LOTR Trilogy was pretty much spot on as far as I am concerned. 8^) Did you read the books? They did the books justice but were not even close to spot on. Lots of missing things. Perhaps the "Extended I want to make alot of money off you poor gullable motherfucker editions" were spot on, but not the originals.

Well, I rented the video of "See Dick Run," hoping to re-live my elementary school years with tales of Dick, Jane, and their rascally dog Spot. What I got was a heavily endowed man chasing large busted women across a tropical beach in Pasaaic, NJ. I prolly should have read the back cover.

I don't particularly remember the details since I read it so long ago, but I'm going to go with Fight Club. And Sin City obviously.

We're still at special extended edition. Next is special extended uber-geek edition, then finally cash cow edition.

In reply to: The Amityvile Horror ( original movie) Oh man, do I ever love that film. James Brolin and Margot Kidder. Great shit. The huge red-eyed pig in the window is one of my favorite creepy moments. The glowing eyes at the window are also cool.
