I am curious about top roping at palisade head. I need to know what the anchors are set up off of. Do you need trad gear, are there bolts or does a bit of static line work? If anyone could give me some tips that would be great thanks

I've been climbing there once before and will be going again this weekend. The falcon guide is a good if you want to pay $20 and will climb in MN/WI again.
Anchors: bring trad gear to make your anchors. there are no bolts and placing them (or using chalk) is not allowed.
Bring some long slings to make anchors. They will be usefull at Palisade head, and necessary if you plan to climb at Shovel Point (10 minutes further up the road). Shovel Point has a lot of loose gravel at the tops of its cliffs with nothing to make anchors with (no bolts here either) within 20 or 30 feet of the cliff edge.
