I went to a family reunion in Driggs, Idaho. The teton canyon, which has the trail head for the hike thru hurricane pass to the tetons, is the only sport routes i could get a hold of. The people at Yostmark in Driggs didn' have much information. They just knew there were some bolts. So we drove up there, saw the face at the trail head. Overhangy granite basically defines the whole rock. The only route we got to try was probably a 5.12 +. We spent 3 or four hours tweaking with this very boulder like climb, never made it up it. I almost had to bail on some gear. Anybody from Idaho know these climbs? I wish i had some pics. I'd rather climb on teton canyon granite as opposed to little cottonwood canyon granite any day, it's so smoooooth. after a long afternoon of elvising and wishing i had brought a clif bar, we eventually retrieved the gear and went off. Over all it was a fun day.. I'll post pics peaze frawg

i think i know what you are talking about...at the very end of the road in teton canyon...and then just up to the granite faces about 100 meters from the parking? i was up there with some people to hike and got to boulder a little bit of that stuff in the canyon...it was awsome. i want to go back up to really get to climb some of the stuff. im going back up next week..ill et some pics and see if it is the same spot we are talking about.
