I was out at the Gorge yesterday (May 29,2005) and noticed a new hive of bees at the base of Orange Walk. This hive could impact not only Orange walk but also Skyline Arete, True Skyline Arete and Beautiful. Though they dont appear to be overly aggresive, I inadvertantly walked within 10 feet of the hive, I figured I'd give the warning. Also It appears the hive that usually forms on Monkey Dance (by Abacab and Deviate Behavior in the Limbo area) has not returned, yet.

Bee update: about two weeks ago I was climbing Orange Face (Right of the Lunch Rock Area) and didn't see the Bees. The hive seems to either have gone dormant for the winter or moved on. So you should have no worries around Skyline or Orange Face.
