Scroll down on the page with the link above. There is a link to rock climbing posters. They all look pretty cool. Steve

Dude, that ain't Tom, see the rope. Unless that was a pre-edit shot, he should be soloing.

I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but that's a photoshop pasting trick. I believe the climb is actually at The Gunks in NY layed over an out west landscape shot.

That doesn't much look like Gunk stone...the landscape looks like BC, maybe? I prefer the de-motivational posters, myself. The one with the shipwreck that says :It may be the purpose of your life is to serve as a cautionary tale to others" is my fave

I have the poster up in my room. You should see a climbing poster where a climber is performing a side-ways-hand-stand up 100 meters with no rope or safety. go to www.puresportsart.com

I couldn't find the poster you're talking about, but my guess is, it's Dan Osman on Atlantis at the Needles- an awesome shot... but even cooler because he had two (?) broken ribs at the time.

I've made it a personal policy to not conduct business with people who have those motivational posters on the walls. They just seem too fake- too office cliche.

I have stared at that poster every day for 9 months straight. It was hanging up in the lunch room at my high school (kinds wierd, but I like it). Sometimes it was the only thing that would keep me going through the day... dreaming of climbing!

I really like that poster and want one for my room! Does anyone know if they sell those at Rei or some other store? I hate getting things off the internet(plus shipping costs!) -Adam

That poster looks pretty wicked, but I'll put money on the fact that it is not real. The mountain range in the background is totally edited in! Whatever, crazy climb the guy is doing! Keep Crankin' and Extebndin' JH [ This Message was edited by: ace-11 on 2002-07-28 13:31 ]
