Hey I'm 15 and growing and my parents wont pay 70 bucks for shoes and I don't have that much money. Is there a place i can buy shoes used for fairly cheap? Please Help!

Check ebay and local places that rent, they usually have some old pairs for sale but they're usually in $hitty condition.

1. Watch http://www.steepandcheap.com , occaisonally they have climbing shoes.
2. Become an rei member ($15.00) , go to REI garage sale, buy shoes for $5. Total cost $20.
3. Check your gym, people often leave shoes behind and they sit around for years.

just now rcv'd my scarpa vortex from campmor. paid $29.99. slippers. great fit. if they're still available, get at least 1/2 size smaller. unlined. i'm 43.5 anasazi. ordered 43 vortex. theyre snug but will stretch.

Well if you climb in your street shoes until you can afford shoes, it will improve your footwork, and you'll do better than someone who was pampered with rock shoes from the begining.
