In reply to: In reply to: How does early November fit with people? Maybe the first week or so of November? What about Thanksgiving and the following weekend-ish (Nov. 24th-...)? I have a few friends who wouldn't be able to make it unless it's a holiday (b/c of school or work). I know holidays are usually time for family and stuff, but it'll definitely make it easier taking advantage of an existing holiday. ~Niles That works for me. I'll miss out on dinner with the family, but hey, the slackers of the world don'tunite all that often. ;) How about you others?

Heels are a bitch, but doable. Last year we had a game of who could catch the most candy in their mouth while on the line. It was fun, I highly recommend it as long as no one drops them from too high up.

Yo Mydude! October 31 is a Monday! So I assume you mean the last weekend in October the 29 & 30. Sounds like a plan. Is there camping? Where you going to put all these people? OK, its on the calendar.

The dates are set. The last weekend of Oct. Drop me a PM if you want to come and we can set up a meeting place. I have two to three highlines that I want to set up ranging from 75' to 95'. There are some shorter lines to set up so bring gear and webbing. Peace, Larry

I'm not sure if I can make this guys... I've gotta have my plans set in concrete by next weekend and right now things look a bit iffy. Anybody gonna be driving to Moab who's passing through Reno, Vegas, or maybe Denver, who wouldn't mind the hassle of bringing me along?

Gymslacker: Buddha is a maybe, and I'm heading to South Africa next Monday, so I have to have tickets and plans for Utah finalized before then, and I'm looking for something concrete. ;) Josh: I can get to Denver. Not too familiar with Colorado though, is Denver close enough? If so, we should take this to PM and get something set up. :)

I'm in a similar boat. I can't make it unless I can get some folks to carpool with me. Plane tickets are out of my budget and gas is too much for me to do on my own. The prob is that I'm in Missouri right now for work and there ain't no slackers out here that can go. ColdClimb - how about swinging by Kansas City before Denver :)

I would love to do something like this as well! Unfortunately I have classes thorugh through the first part of December. Is there a chance that we could do this again? Maybe during Spring Break? (2nd or 3rd week of March?) Tell me what you all think. I can get to Moab or Red Rocks too.

Coldclimb, dude, YOU have to come. It was your idea. If you can't find a ride I can pick you up if you fly into Denver or Vegas. So make it happen. Larry

Larry Yeah I know, I've got to make it, the timing is just making it tough, that's all. I think I'll be able to, just gotta get it worked out NOW. :D Trevzilla, I'm planning on hitting up the Red Rock Rendezvous in March. Perhaps another highliner gathering COULD happen.

Anyone going from Texas? I'm new to RC.com but I've been slacklining for about a year and a half and I'd like to try highlining.
