I am perfectly willing to blow off the family on thankgiving. Their gettin used to it!
But an anual event on Thanksgiving that an't going to work!
October works way better!
And It's not cold yet!

Haven't you ever slacklined in costumes yet? Heels are a bitch, but doable.
Last year we had a game of who could catch the most candy in their mouth while on the line. It was fun, I highly recommend it as long as no one drops them from too high up.

The dates are set. The last weekend of Oct. Drop me a PM if you want to come and we can set up a meeting place. I have two to three highlines that I want to set up ranging from 75' to 95'. There are some shorter lines to set up so bring gear and webbing.

I'm not sure if I can make this guys... I've gotta have my plans set in concrete by next weekend and right now things look a bit iffy. Anybody gonna be driving to Moab who's passing through Reno, Vegas, or maybe Denver, who wouldn't mind the hassle of bringing me along?

i'll be driving from boulder, and would be happy to take you along. as well as one or two others, since gas is so freakin much. i'll be firming up my time off today or tomorrow...pm me.

I'm in a similar boat. I can't make it unless I can get some folks to carpool with me. Plane tickets are out of my budget and gas is too much for me to do on my own. The prob is that I'm in Missouri right now for work and there ain't no slackers out here that can go. ColdClimb - how about swinging by Kansas City before Denver :)

I would love to do something like this as well! Unfortunately I have classes thorugh through the first part of December. Is there a chance that we could do this again? Maybe during Spring Break? (2nd or 3rd week of March?) Tell me what you all think. I can get to Moab or Red Rocks too.

Yeah I know, I've got to make it, the timing is just making it tough, that's all. I think I'll be able to, just gotta get it worked out NOW. :D
Trevzilla, I'm planning on hitting up the Red Rock Rendezvous in March. Perhaps another highliner gathering COULD happen.
