The poll has spoken... Gathering rescheduled for 10/22-23 (very soon!) @ Queen Creek. *Where to camp/BS? The spot where we camped and enjoyed the yummy catered BBQ for the last QC gathering is inaccessible to 2WD now, since the road has caved in. *Where to climb? Speaking of 4WD, the Homestead is a viable and most recommended option! Yeah, this info might be helpful :)

Unfortunately, I'm 4x4-less at the moment. The Epic Mobile is still in the shop (going on 4 months). I can probably come out to play one day (Sat or Sun), but not both. The wife has my ballz swimming in formaldehyde in a mason jar on top of the fridge, so I can't tell her I need to climb both days, otherwise she'll smash the jar and feed them to the cats. Yes, the blissful give and take of marriage -- you too can become a slave. Ed

Use caution if you're going to try to take a normal car through, it may take a beating.

Hey all, Can't wait till this weekend!! Only concern is this: Will there be sport climbers out there and the only reason I ask is because I truly suck at bouldering. I am kina hoping that some folks bring their harnesses. Also, is the party near where flapper fest is held? I will be the one on the quad as my bald tires will disallow my truck from making it back where the party is. Carry On, Jeff Raymond

I think the latest offical thread is this one: http://www.rockclimbing.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=99368 There have been so many. There will be sport and trad climbers there. I am bringing enough gear to do sport or top rope. Edit: If you need a ride I have a 4x4 liberty with tow hooks/skid plates and plenty of room. When are you heading out there?

Sorry all I can't make it this weekend as I have other obligations. Too bad about the original date. I had thought the Phlapper Fest was the following weekend on Halloween. It's too bad I won't make this one, because last year was a blast. oh well. Have fun all! -Mike

Weather is supposed to be low to mid 60's at night and low to mid 80's this weekend in Superior, AZ. Sounds like it is shaping up to be a great time for all the nice people in attendance. Jeff

Well, I headed up there today with the rug rat. Went up to the area where we met last gathering and found a few cars, but nobody in sight. So, I took the kid over to the Mine area a TR'd a few climbs. Didn't see a soul all day except for a couple of guys in a pickup. Hil! Sorry I can't make it out there tomorrow. :-( Hope you guys have some fun! Ed
