Xanax! The great free soloist uses xanax! That's like baseball and steriods, or cycling and blood doping. CHEATING! I think this taints ALL of his free solo buildering accomplishments. DMT

In reply to: Xanax! The great free soloist uses xanax! DMT Man, I would need a handful of xanax too to even think about building some of the places he has climbed...

Wow, this was actually on CNN. Alain needs to look around before he starts climbing. I can't believe a cop actually moved fast enough to grab him, but I guess a guy with spiderman clothing is a little obvious. :?

Seems everyone missed the real scandal here. "A reporter tipped off the police." So it's OK to acts as the bagman for the White House (expose a CIA agent) and then claim a 1st Amendment right to "protect your sources," while at the same time rat out someone who is doing something that is probably not really a crime (how can you trespass on the outside of a building...) Pretty pathetic. Xanax....I'll have to try that for the next 5.3 I solo.

Dude climbs some of the tallest buildings all over the world and gets his neck broken on an 8ft fall off because a cop pulled his ankle...

Hey everyone! I just found out what the Zanax is for? It's for the inevitable trip to jail after each climb! That's the reason he's all smiles in the back of that squad car. Not to mention he knows for sure he's got someone already lined up to bail him out... Total time in jail could only be a couple of hours, that's not that bad.

Yes , I believe I mentioned before that he does look rather torn back for his age. You know what they say about beauty is only skin deep. As for myself I'm not winning any beauty pageants lately either!   Peace, Chuck

Pretty amazing to do all the stuff that man has done with his physical handicaps. Just noticed that he claims the xanax is anti-epileptic medication. I think he pretty much leaves the rest of the world with no excuses.
