Give us a few specifics. What kind of device? What dimensions on the device and the room? What are the walls and ceilings made of. I'll try to help if I can.

Lotsa liquid nails.

You asked how to hang it. Not how to make it stay up.

Hang it above an interior door thet you go through in a regular basis. This will ensure that you use it very often. Use long wood screws and screw them directly through the factory drilled holes in the hang board and into the studs. Make sure that you hit the stud with EVERY screw. Try not to over tighten them as this will crack some hang boards.
Good Luck
