Okay, so now that it's everybodies favorite time of the year we are all excited, and we are also spending money like it will give us STD's if we don't get rid of it. The best part though, is Christmas bonuses. At your job they don't go shopping for you, they just give you what you really want, which is money. :D I am wondering how much I am going to get. I get pretty crappy pay, but I also get a company vehicle, company gas (awesome with prices the way they've been), insurance paid for, health, dental, and truck, I get my lunch paid for, and I don't have to do much...pretty much just play around on RC.com and Myspace. These are enough fringe benefits for me to be thankful, but what I'm really worried about is getting a fat bonus...what is the average christmas bonus? if there is one?

Exactly the same feeling...this is the most excited about a christmas present I think I've ever gotten. If it sucks I am gonna be way bummed...I keep thinking, what if it's even more than I am afraid to wish for...

when i worked for tim hortons it was half your average pay cheque for the month of december....luckily for me, i worked 32 shifts that month, with the average piece work per shift being 150 or something.....ya.....fuck, what was it again,.....almost 900 i think.....only cus tim hortons practicly ran out of bakers and were whoring the few remaining ones left...i did afew triple shifts that month ahh, like 250 or 300 from my bro-in-law when i worked for him.... and my current job, from what i've heard, about 100 if your liked....its a shit hole , but i'm only there to clock the welding hours, for a trades ticket, as well i've gotten afew qualifications for welding there and they're paying for my first aid courses this march (about a 1000 for mine)......ok, shit pay, 50 - 100 med and dent, good steel fab exp for me, free steel from times to times, good crew and foremans, treated like crap other than that...

Stole my car's computer - the night before my first 8 AM final. They even locked my car when they were done. I spent about five minutes screaming obscenities in a less-than-stellar neighborhood when I discovered poor Jodie at 6 AM. Nice, huh?

Iīm waiting to get paid mine. Actually, yesterday was the last day they had to pay me my bonus as required by law, but since Iīm getting more $ than I should, I ainīt complaining (though I havenīt bought a single gift yet... yeah Iīm kinda screwed). As soon as I get paid, Im going off on my paid vacations and never going back! Yep, a whole month of going to the sunny southern beaches and travelling upwards to the limestone Valhalla that is Potrero Chico. Alas, itīs all contingent on a friend/coworker staying on the job a little longer, īcause if she doesnīt then Iīll have to stick around until mid january...

This year was better than others... One week's pay - taxed, of course. One extra week's pay, because I'd recently been switched and wouldn't get any holiday cash from bosses; the HR director went to bat for me, there. A little extra cash from one of my old bosses, anyway. Total of $1600. Enough to pay for a RT flight to Germany for the World Cup. :D T

I work for a small town and it is guvmnt so they can't give you anything, so they say. They are real pricks all year so I don't expect a change. The brite side is, I have less than 23 months to go and they can kiss my-----.
