We'll be staying in one of the resorts and are looking for a nearby canyon for sport climbing as well as some fun beach bouldering. What is the closest location and best way to get details, access info, etc?

hey kris, i'm actually looking for the same. i'll be in PV for a week in march. all i saw on rc.com was the post about dreams hotel, but i was looking for some beach bouldering too. in the pictures, all i saw were los arcos & mismaloya beach. there's also supposed to be some stuff at camino real hotel. if you get to PV before i do, lemme know if you find anything good.

Hey Diana.
I've heard the same but haven't gotten any real details, and I'm hoping to have it all mapped out before we go. We have a time share exchange, so I'm not sure exactly the dates of our trip yet...maybe March/April. Let me know if you get anymore details. In the meantime, Mark responded to my post...read his reply, it's helpful.

Hey guys I've also been looking for spots but nothing has showed up on the web.. im guessing if you can get a boat or kayak out to Los Arcos, looks like there could be some cool climbing out there (much like King Lines when they are in Mallorca). I'm guessing if you could find this place youd be in heaven. Los Arcos looks good, but has alot of boat traffic. Just 30-60 min south of there on the hwy, I saw some epic looking slabs up in the mtns... not sure what the deal is there, but I didn't see any cracks for pro.
I was down 3-4hrs in Melaque a small town, & found lots of boulders. :D
I'll be north of PV in Bucerias this March so I'll see what I find.
