Please if anyone could suggest... i live in san diego, i travel up the coast lots, looking for a fun boulder on the beach kind of thing... cave climbing overhanging the pacific...

Well, for some fun beach climbing id recommend pt dume in malibu. Maybe a dozen sport routes and you cant beat the view. A bit chossy though. also recommend "the cave" go figure at mt woodson. I wouldnt go there just for it, but if your in the area id check it out.

i dont know ppl's opinions on it, but if the weathers dry and clear skies, head over to corona del mar in orange county, theres bouldering on the beach aka pirate's cove. ive only been twice, and its good if the rock is dried out. if your looking for a cavish boulder problem i know of ironman, which is pretty popular, and a touch problem. plus if its warm enough you can jump in for a swim after climbing. its a good spot in the spring and summer evenings, nice sunset, warm weather, and the sun's dried out that rock for ya. http://www.rockclimbing.com/routes/listArea.php?AreaID=244
