Last year I bought a few slings and last month a few QDs figuring that I would figure out how many of each size or type I would end up needing this year. I made sure to get different colours for each size of sling for easy ID and just stuck with a particular colour of QD.

Well...I went back to top off my stuff and found that the colours that I chose are no longer available, at MEC anyway. No real explanation from the staff, just that they are not available.

Is it normal that they change the colours that are being produced (specifically Onsight sewn slings) or perhaps it's a purchasing decision at the shop and I should look farther afield to stay standardized, for me?

BTW, did a quick google and RC.com search.

Jeff.

naw...its just the way MEC works, not onSight...thats the one reason why i didn't color code my slings for lengths..
