Wouldn't it be great to be a sponsored climber? You'd get free gear and clothing from companies like Prana and Five-Ten in exchange for using there products and appearing in their advertising. On the other hand, I got to thinking that there are some companies that I'd rather not be sponsored by. Here's my list:

* Flynt Publications
* AARP
* State of Kansas Borad of Education
* Fatburger
* Weight Watchers
* Dr. Sholls
* Oldsmobile
* Mary Kay
* The Hair Club for Men

Can you think of any others? (Try to avoid feminie hygiene and incontinence products -- too obvious.)

Funny you should say that about Fatburger Jay. I have been joking about being sponsored by IN N OUT burger all summer.

I would't want to be sponsored by REI. I would take a sponsorship from Depends Undergarments before REI.

I'm so desperate I would accept money from anyone and anything.
However, I would especially enjoy being sponsored by one of the Japanese restaurants in Golden, CO. They sell "Japanese food" by the "scoop," 1 scoop for $1. Can't get better than that.

Also, in the same flavor of Depends, I wouldn't want to be sponsor by its Saturday Night Live sister company of "Oops! I Crapped My Pants" either!

Any feminine product (excuse me ladies).

Any genital wart product.

Anything for the posterior is out.

Exxon or other oil companies.

Chainsaws.

10-10 anything. No "discount" phone numbers. (However, 1-800 (or 900) Hot Girl or something wouldn't be so bad )

Also, anything for the genitals is out, too!

Nasal spray is no good.

Any major corporation. I hate corporate America and corporate (or sell out) Americans. So those products are not good--Nike, Coke, Pepsi, Microsoft, Time Warner (they shittiest service and products you can ask for), Disney, AT&T, etc, etc, etc.

Anything having to do with acne. Bad memories!

Harley Davidson. They suck and so do their bikes.

Now that I think of it, no "vehicles" of any nature unless, of course, it is something cool like a military style Hummer or tank or something.

Farms. Don't want to be related to cow pies or something.
