I was twirling it around on that finger, and it slid down. Went on so easy..took a good 20 mins to get it off.

Looks like it's time to take the "c" and "i" out of your username :D Good luck with the removal!

    Thanks for the laughs. Glad you got it off. It would suck to have to explain why you have one of those things on your finger for the rest of your life.

Bah! you almost broke my cover, I couldn't stop myself from busting up laughing while at work. Nice mini epic :). (here i was opening the thread wondering if there was something horribly wrong with atc-guides after buying one just a few weeks ago)

I know climbers like to play with their gear when they can't climb but this is the first trama I have heard of. Be careful out there, even when you're not out there.

In reply to: (here i was opening the thread wondering if there was something horribly wrong with atc-guides after buying one just a few weeks ago) Yeah, me too. Always better to learn from someone else's mistakes, though, I always say. "There but for the grace of the angels go I." Thanks ctardi!

I love the picture, must make it hard to type and do other things with your hands. I just had a similar problem. My wedding ring got too tight from a combination of a 6 month old injury and returning strength and clauses and I've finally given in and I'm going to get it re-sized. When I tried to put it on it got stuck just past the knuckle and the finger was purple and ice cold before I managed to get if off. Before I get a bunch of warnings about degloving let me say that It rides in the chaulkbag key pocket whenever I'm climbing.

You should send an email to BD and see if they'll replace it, at the least. Claim it as a manufacturing defect and the hole was too small for it's intended purpose. Oh, and props for having the balls to post and show pics of your misfortune.

In reply to: First off, you should be ashamed of your hands. Are you a hand model? You've never actually climbed have you? and In reply to: I know climbers like to play with their gear when they can't climb but this is the first trama I have heard of. Be careful out there, even when you're not out there. My girlfriend busted open her lip while playing with a brand new big bro. She was lucky, an inch closer and she'd have knocked out a tooth. 8^)
