I'm gonna talk to some people at my work. I work for a company that does economic development in California, so they probably know the city planners for Auburn and other cool people high up and can pitch rock climbing as a good-for-economy activity. One of my supervisors even climbs. (She's over 60!)

BUMP. I'd also add that I just spoke to Jim micheaels, who is developing the general plan. When asked, he said that the department of reclamation, (fed agency that actually owns the land) has no opposition to climbing, they just want a use plan in place. email Jim and get your name on the list!

It would be nice to see climbing allowed again.

Any recent news on climbing at Auburn SRA?? I just moved back to the Sacramento area after a number of years, and heard about the place. Sounds fantastic, albeit hindered by legal issues. What's the latest status?
