I like the idea of free hugs. It makes everyone feel more comfortable no matter the situation. I had a couple of very muddy hot girls giving free hugs out at the take out for the lower Gauley last weekend and it turned the vibe of the whole place (lots of wet and impatient people) around immediately.

Who is HUGS and why should we free him/her/them?? What did he/she/they do to be put into a position where we would have to free him/her/them??? I don't think that would go over well at the crag.....

I saw this last week, and it is cute. But, a voice inside me says: "Don't hug a guy who is being followed around by a camera crew!"

Thanks for the good vibes... I'm working this weekend and was a little bummed about not climbing. I firmly beleive that there aren't enough hugs shared on any given day!

In reply to: How's hugging a greasy haired stranger supposed to improve someone's day? f---ing hippies... Who knows, but hugging a couple of mud covered coeds? Now that's the kind of therapy I could subscribe to. But hugging? That sounds even better.
