I'm looking for info on high school climbing teams. I want to get one started at my school in Olympia. Any schools in Seattle or Portland have teams?

There are many climbing teams in the PNW that climb in the ABS/USAC series of competitons. They are all tied to one of the local gyms. some of the teams are:
Edgeworks - Tacoma
Vertical World - Seattle/Redmond/Kitsap/Everett
Stone Gardens - Seattle
Clubsport - Tigard
Portland Rock Gym - Portland
Stoneworks - Beaverton
The Circuit Gym - Portland
Inclimb Gym - Bend
Crux Rock - Eugene
Rogue Rock Gym - Medford

Ashland High School (Ashland, Oregon) is developing it's own climbing team. They practice at the Universities Campus climbing wall.
This team was initiated by a local climber who also runs the Ashland Youth Climbing Program, a non-profit climbing club/team.
