Skyward Mountaineering's web site (Vince Anderson's outfit) has it listed as "Bridalveil is in great shape and getting a lot of traffic. You can hook your way on up now and it is probably WI5 at most."

That was posted on 2-14-07, which is probably as current info as you're going to get.

I suppose you could also call Jagged Edge in Telluride, or Ouray Mountain Sports in Ouray, ask for beta.

there's been a lot of weather changes since vince's last report so i was wondering if anyone has been there recently.

i don't trust the people at jagged edge. they don't know what they are talking about and are pretty clueless about local conditions.

anyone have a 1st hand report? (not what your best friend's adopted child twice removed has done ;-) )

Ya, I have a first hand report from the owners! They are getting pissed because too many people are climbing it and aren't respecting their property. I wouldn't be surprised if they close it again.

This is too bad to hear. I hope it does not get closed.

Wouldn't bother me. Rumor has it that a bunch of
Euro's have been especially rude. Cool
