March slackerness..

Can't Post

So, I've been slacking... Well, it's the first Monday of the month, so that has to count for something.

Not that hucking off of something big is a bad thing. But I think that this is appropriate given the amount crap happening to the forum members this quarter.

It's March: What are your goals?

To make it through the last month and a half of my contract without getting fired for slacking.

I just hope they don't review the records for time spent online or I could be in tight spot.

1) Win the office NCAA pool

2) Two chicks at the same time (that's more of an on-going goal, not so much March specific).

goals for march...

7b (.12b?), got two sweet routes in the fire, i just hope the weather cooperates.

get into serious shape for summer.

finnaly fix my moutain trail blazer and pop the cherry of a really sweet track i discovered this weekend while hiking. its pure poetry, narrow, some dropoffs (one across a ditch then over a road, this is going to be interesting), some tricky sections with roots and rocks, in short, perfect. and i have a tea or something waiting at the bottom.

pass another exam on the 22nd.

have fun.

and it does seem a pretty bad quarter.

Get endruance with climbing again. See if I can get into good enough shape to justify heading to the RRG over easter with the Alpine Club of Canada.

Do a pull up again. Just one, that's all I ask for.

Get strong enough walking again to get rid of the cane.

Goals for March

1.) Get the rest of my gear down here from Maine in prep for the season Cool

2.) Convince Mgear to take back the deformed webbing they sent me (some fucking moron took one of those tag guns used for tagging CLOTHING and punched holes in the 10 runners I bought to fix price tags to them...yeah, I'm really going to use those now. Mgear is actually giving me a hard time over it)

3.) Successfully move this Saturday
4.) Find a regular gym parter
5.) Finish the piece of music I started like 3 months ago.
6.) Actually manage to start saving money.Crazy

Deploy my application with no glitches.
Get outside and actually do some real climbing.

I agree 100% with that one. [crosses fingers]

Get surgery scheduled asap so that I can be ready to run again by the summer.

Gain 1-2 more pounds.
Climb the black traverse (at the gym) which is supposed to only be 5.10c...
Climb at least twice outdoor. I don't feel like climbing outside, something is broken inside me...

You best fix the broken piece within about 2 months. I need a guide. Wink

Man, you're making it too easy today. It's like shooting ducks in a barrel. I'll let this one lie for now though.

PS: Good luck with the injury Smile

What's the matter, you need an advantage on all the rest of us poor souls. You need full function of all the body parts. Good luck.

If you've ever seen me climb, you'd know how much I need both arms. I suck enough as it is... can't imagine what it'd be like to lose an appendage.

You can't be any worse than I am. With one arm or two. I did climb for a season or more with a messed up rotator which meant I had to hold my hand close to my chest/shoulder as I reached up. I could not just throw my hand/arm up in the quick circular motion most often used. I did just that in a hurry one day and had to immediatly come down to the ground. I hope you heal.
