Anyone know of any cheap or at least reasonable suppliers of open cell foam, one cubic foot chunks would be ideal, but scrap foam would work just as well, i need to fill a large gym pad 5 by 8 feet and 12 inches thick. Anything in the Harrisonburg or Charlottesville, VA area would be even better.

Is the foam business like fight club or something? The first rule is don't talk about your supplier? Someone here has to have some scoop on where pad manufacturers get their materials

I went to a reupholster and got my foam. I got it for free or next to nothing. They were all 6" to 8" thick and the size of a coutch cushion. I got enough to cover the floor at is about 10' X 12'. They work great after putting carpet over them. Bill
