I accepted a new job and I'm moving to Cortez, CO. From what I can tell, I'll be climbing in Durango and IC. Any local contacts for those areas would be great, and if any of you actually live in Cortez, please let me know.

Right now the plan is to move out there in about a month, though I'll probably leave California in a little over two weeks. Got to build in time to travel and climb!

I've been climbing for seven years, primarily in the Black Hills at the Shmore and the Needles, and at Devils Tower, Red Rocks, and Yosemite. I lead into the 5.10 range and am totally happy following harder stuff.

I'll be coming through in July.... wanna do some alpine routes?

IIRC, "iceisnice" is from Durango area. I think Ivan and Erica live in the area, too.

Reno, thanks for the beta.

Alpine eh? Maybe, as long as your plan doesn't sound too nightmarish. I should be working 10 hour days, with Friday-Sunday off, so keep me informed.
