Hey, what's up bro? I see you got 18 too. Do you like Jack Johnson? I've got some tequila. Wait. You are a bro, right?

Zeke, you appear to have carabiner96 confused with artm.
He probably must have mis-placed his reading glasses... artm isn't nearly as hot as '96 (which is sixty-nine, backwards... right?)

22. Only slightly more anti-social.

I notice tendencies to fluctuate quite a bit in that anti-social behavior however, so would probably score differently depending on the week.

I'm unique... just like everybody else!Crazy

27, but I like numbers. I *cough* do statistical mechanics for fun.

Incidentally, this is a pet peeve since my mother started calling me anti-social.

Sociopaths are anti-social.

The range between shy and autistic is best described as asocial. Just to be clear. Antisocial Asocial

Big difference here folks.

I got a 10. Does that make me the least autistic male here? Do I get a trophy?

I think a lot of that has to do with your confidence in yourself for social interactions. I could definitly see myself answering the social interactions questions differently based on recent experiences.

31...boarder line.

I like numbers, I'm a scocial retard. Its true, I'll admit it. Now does that make me autistic, or just an engineer?

I got 32.... so I figure it's got to be an engineering thing.

In reply to the thread title and I quote "austism spectrum quotient". The first thing that came to mind was that clausti must have a thing against Aussies or that there must be a new racism against Aussies. Sly Austism. Laugh

Edit to say that I scored a paltry 12, what does that make me.

33, but I think with some preparations I can do more.

I hate parties and telephones. Computers are good, because you don't need to talk to them. I hate pretend games and I'm glad that my 8 y.o. son has become interested in quantum mechanics, because it is so much easier to talk to him about quarks than pretend that I am a cowboy or something.

Rock climbing is all about numbers for me. I like to see my pyramid grow and I don't care much about anything else.

I'm glad that lena_chita gave me the book by Mark Haddon 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time'. It shows that I am perfectly normal.

Anyone who can talk to their 8 year old son about Quantum mechanics knows little to nothing about it or his son is a super genius and if so, have him come talk to me because I have some questions about the schroedinger wave function and developing a new force field for molecular dynamics simulations, I mean who likes OPLS-AA anyways?

You don't have to be autistic to be an engineer... but it helps! Wink

You have to admit a lot of engineers are a little socially inept, which would make them score high on this test. Not all of them, but a lot of them. This probably explains my high score. You obviously don't fall into that category. You must be one of those high functioning engineers.Wink Truth be told, I'm just trying to make myself fell better about scoring so far outside of normal.

32 for me also. Nice number. 3's, 2's, and 5's - and combinations thereof - are good numbers for me.

A friend of my wife's has a two autistic kids. She recently asked me if I'd ever been tested ... well, fuck me.

Stupid test.
