After some misguided directions, I used earth.google.com to figure out where these boulders we're laying. Take 60 East till you get to the Idaho Road exit and make a left off the ramp. Take Idaho road NORTH to McKellips then turn right. You'll pass roads Winchester, Colt, Wolverine pass and so on till you reach CORTEZ road which essentially is the last perpendicular road to McKellips. Make a left and follow it till Cortez ends and basically the road ends. The boulders are a little hike up the hilll but I was somewhat disappointed with the boulders that I did find. I found some of the tooling left by others but found that the rock was very flaky and the landing zones were sloped downhill due to erosion. The climbs were a bit sketchy due to the unstable nature of the rock. Perhaps I was in the wrong area. Any insight would be sweet cause the landscape was pretty sweet to just chill drink some beer and talk.
