I went to this new age yoga place last year when I was trying to get back to being physical. I told them all about my accident and they started listing off all sorts of foods that I should have been eating to help myself heal. The one thing they kept stressing: cartilage. Easiest source: the parts of chicken no one wants to eat. No, I never did incorporate that into my diet.

I eat the core of apples. Everything but the stem. I believe that there are small amounts of cyanide in apple seeds, though. Often, the poison used to off European royalty in the Middle Ages was made from rendered-down apple seeds. I've also heard of homeopathic treatments for cancer that involve eating the insides of peach and apricot pits, which contain similar poisons. hmmmm...

We need data to back this up! Are we talking just about your experience, or people in general? Have you considered the fact that maybe you don't know how to eat unsliced apple properly, and your large percentage of waste is the result of your lack of technique? B/c I can show you the remains of the apple when my husnabd is done with it, and there is less of it left than when I slice an apple and cut out the core for my son to eat... I'm an engineer, its my job to screw up estimates so everyone makes more money.

Right. If anybody is interested in my workshop on High-Efficiency Apple Consumption (HEAC), please let me know. It's only $50 per session for the first 5 classes and $30 per class for those who wish to refine their technique afterwards. Plus you need to supply materials: 10-15 unsliced apples per class. No knife required. Attached are some pictures from our previous workshops. what's that? not offensive, by the way.

Well, that's why you smoke a cigarette with every apple you eat... which brings me to another point: What about the apple bong/ pipe? Granted, you lose a certain amount of apple to modifications, but the benefits of the pairing should offset the losses.
