This is Ernest from Switzerland back home trying to adjust to the responsibilities of life. It is a huge contrast to living the life in J.T.
I want to thank you all for roping-up, cooking together and the unconditional love, no judgement!
Reid, the time with you was good! seeing you improve your footwork and try until you could not go any further was my window to your soul. You are an interesting man with allot of insight into the
human- being. Thank you for helping me to negotiate with the women who had my gear. You were democratic in a none political sense.
Julian, thanks for the initial ride to the tree. You will develop into a good lead climber. Nr. 1 only climb what you want. Nr. 2 Double everything. Nr. 3 climb for the right reasons. Nr. 4 pick your climbs carefully! Nr. 5 Only climb with partners who cause the mojo to flow!
Rob, I was inspired by your solid climbing, challenged by the hard routes. I will press on! We will meet up for some big wall free climbing in the near future. Thanks for the 2 weeks of good solid safe climbing. You are a great climber!
Levi & Dean, you two were inspirational the one day we climbed on the freeway wall. Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures you shot of me climbing The talking fish & Anacram. Dean keep up the good work and concentrate on the task @ hand. Levi, I saw the eyes you were making @ Chasity in the evening, did you like her? You will be a good climber, experience will be your teacher.
TallMark, Thank you for the ride to the tree. Even though things did not flow, we learned. I believe you will become the climber you intend to be. Hard word dedication and a non apathetic attitude will take you where you want to go. Foot work will be the name of the game! Speak up and say what you feel!
Charles, thank you for the climbs, you are a solid climber!
Brett, we are becoming good friends over the years. The experience you showed on the climbs you led is deep in your psyche. I look forward to climbing some classic long routes in Red Rocks with you!
John, thanks for the great laughs and stories!

Schoney, I look up to you, you know what you want and who you are. I also like how you make things materialize to make events happen. One could say, your a magic man and belong to the Tree.

My time in the Desert was safe, a blessing, insightful, beautiful and fun! All of you who shared time and space with me were there by a divine appointment. Thank you for being patient with me, and hannging in there when I was lagging behind. And tagging along when I was up so early in the morning. What can I say accept I am a better person for going to the desert and climbing at one of the most difficult places on the earth!
